We are embarking on some very exciting
activities. Please check back regularly to see what we have been up to.
Partnering
with three ministries in prayer, encouragement, and support.
1.
A ministry to the homeless. They provide blankets, underwear, and other essentials as well as witness and pray for the individuals they meet on the street.
2. A ministry to expectant high school girls. They have two homes where they provide a safe home environment for these girls. They offer parenting classes, Bible studies and require weekly church
attendance as well as completion of their high school education.
3. A ministry to homeless families. A consortium of local churches who provide shelter, food, and loving
care to homeless families. They also provide a day-care center that provides childcare, and a caseworker and computers to aid them in finding employment and permanent housing.
Partnering
with three lay people who have asked us to pray for clarity and release of opportunity for
ministry. Each one has felt a need to respond to the call of God concerning needs within the community. He has placed these things on their heart over the last several years and they believe the
time for release is approaching.
Meeting
with area pastors to promote prayer and cooperation. Specifically, to seek God's vision for
Redwood City and their church's unique call-of-God within the community. We are encouraging each pastor to partner with other pastors to pray for the release of the churches of Redwood City to be an
integral part of community life.
